An invitation to share your thoughts on the possible introduction of mandatory reporting of frauds

Perpetuity Research has been commissioned by the ACFE UK Chapter and the Fraud Advisory Panel to conduct a survey to better understand fraud reporting by organisations in England and Wales, in order to see if there is a case for the mandatory reporting of fraud.

At present, there is no legal requirement in England and Wales for a company to report a fraud, should one occur in its organisation. Nonetheless, some countries have implemented mandatory reporting of fraud, therefore, we need to understand these further in order to see if such procedures would be workable in England and Wales.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The deadline for responses is 5pm Friday 2nd July 2021.We do not ask for your name nor the organisation you work for, and no identifying factors will be presented in the research findings – this is an anonymous survey. All information will be used only for the purposes of this piece of research. At the end of the survey. We will provide you with an opportunity to receive a copy of the findings and to take part in a follow-up interview.
