Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence
Perpetuity Research has been commissioned by the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Devon, Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly to carry out a sexual violence needs assessment to help inform the recommissioning of Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) services across the area.
The work will provide an overview of current service provision in the area, the support needs of people impacted by sexual violence, what’s working well and where practice could be improved for survivors of sexual violence. The report that Perpetuity provides will include both strategic and specific operational recommendations for the OPCC. To carry out this work Perpetuity are interviewing professionals involved with specialist sexual violence service provision, conducting surveys with community members, including survivors of sexual violence, and reviewing local and national data and literature.
