BBC Kent – PIN number fraud.

Martin Gill appeared on BBC Radio Kent on 18th October discussing a fraud scam. There had been a high number of elderly people targeted by fraudsters for their pin number; the fraudsters ring up pretending to be the police and persuade victims that money has been taken from their account and they need the card and PIN number. The fraudsters send around a taxi while the victim is on the phone. It all appears very convincing. The best method of prevention is to put people on the guard.
